Biography 

Early Life

Daisy Johnson’s story begins with Dr. Calvin Zabo, a scientist obsessed with achieving the pinnacle of human physiology. In his pursuit, he kidnapped and killed civilians, conducting experiments for decades. Among his victims was Kim So-young, a frail immigrant woman in the late stages of pregnancy.

 When S.H.I.E.L.D. finally raided Zabo’s hideout, only Kim was found alive. She died giving birth, leaving behind a child whose physiology was clearly not fully human. S.H.I.E.L.D. quickly placed the child into the care of two retired agents who raised her lovingly in the countryside. She was named Daisy Johnson.

The Incident

As a teenager, Daisy experienced a defining tragedy. On February 29, a mysterious phenomenon swept across the globe: a dense, unnatural mist enveloped several cities, causing thousands of people to vanish without explanation. The Johnsons, Daisy’s adoptive parents, left her at home to help neighbors get back safely. Tragically, they died in a car accident, leaving Daisy alone. For days she stayed Aisolated, until she heard her parents’ voices calling her from the front door. When she opened it, she was swallowed by the mist. A week later, the fog cleared, revealing endless pits and craters across the ground. Slowly, people began to reemerge, but they were no longer human.

Adoption by S.H.I.E.L.D.

Following the mist event, S.H.I.E.L.D. officially adopted Daisy. They began to study her physiology, which carried unusual abilities linked to her altered DNA. Her seismic powers gave her control over vibration and earthquakes, making her a formidable combatant. With her upbringing under the watchful eye of agents, and thanks to the martial training she had already received from childhood, Daisy quickly advanced through S.H.I.E.L.D.’s ranks. She soon earned the codename Quake.
