Biography 

Origin

Garfield Logan was the son of two brilliant biologists who traveled to Africa for field research. His mother, Marie Logan, was a scientist and animal activist, and during an expedition in West Africa she conceived Garfield. The family remained in Africa to continue their work studying wildlife and ecosystems. 

Transformation

 At the age of 10, Gar contracted a rare and dangerous fever — a mutated strain of a virus previously only infectious to animals. The disease left him bedridden and close to death. His father also became infected and soon passed away. In desperation, Marie reached out to an old friend, Dr. Niles Caulder, a renowned scientist and leader of the Doom Patrol.

Caulder devised an experimental treatment, altering Garfield’s DNA to incorporate traits from various animals. This saved his life but gave him an extraordinary side effect — the ability to transform into any animal he could imagine.

As Beast Boy

 After his mother’s death, an old friend of her, Rita Farr, decided to adopt Gar and took him to England for further medical observation. Beast Boy was integrated into the Doom Patrol, a team of Caulder’s “misfit” protégés, each granted powers by fate or accident. Despite being the youngest and least experienced member, Gar inspired his teammates to use their abilities for good. 

 Living alongside eccentric and often older heroes, Garfield found himself struggling to fit in even among outsiders. Nevertheless, he honed his abilities and developed into a reliable member of the team, fighting villains like the Brotherhood of Sin. 

 Over time, Garfield left the Doom Patrol to explore the world on his own and discover his true identity and potential. This led him to join the Teen Titans, where he fought alongside heroes such as Starfire, Raven, Cyborg, and Nightwing, finding not only new teammates, neither a chosen family, but true friends. 

Geopolitical problems

As Garfield Logan finds himself increasingly uncertain about the future of the Titans, an unexpected message arrives that quickly captures his attention. Following the creation of the Titans' public P.O. box, Beast Boy has become one of the team's most popular members among fans, receiving countless letters every week. Most are easy to ignore, but one stands apart from all the others.

The letter comes from a young woman claiming to be a displaced princess from Markovia, currently hiding in a remote Turkish village while a civil war rages across her homeland. According to her account, a rival claimant has seized the throne, forcing her into exile while governments and intelligence agencies across Europe search for her whereabouts. Despite the unbelievable nature of the story, Garfield cannot shake the feeling that she is telling the truth.

Against his better judgment—and without informing the rest of the Titans—he decides to investigate personally. Knowing that the team would likely oppose involvement in another international political conflict, especially after previous controversies involving foreign governments, Garfield takes the Titans' jet and embarks on a solo mission. For him, the situation is simple: if someone is asking for help and lives are at stake, walking away is not an option.

Upon arriving in Turkey, however, the mission becomes far more personal than he ever expected. Waiting for him in the village is not a stranger, but Rose Wilson. Hidden behind a false identity and a story carefully crafted to conceal the truth, the daughter of Deathstroke has been the mysterious correspondent all along. Now Garfield must decide whether to trust someone whose family has caused immeasurable pain to the Titans, or abandon a person who may genuinely need his help.

For the first time in a long while, Beast Boy finds himself caught between instinct and responsibility, friendship and secrecy. Whatever happens next, his decision to answer that letter may change not only Rose's future, but his own as well.
