The formation of X-Force begins when Cable receives critical intelligence from Iceman, now leading X-Factor, about a resurgence of classified experimentation tied to the remnants of the Weapon X program.

The data points toward something far worse than isolated operations, a convergence of three infamous initiatives: Black Womb Project, Project Armageddon, and Weapon X itself. Recognizing the scale of the threat, Cable assembles a strike team built not for diplomacy, but for eradication: Domino, Deadpool, Bishop, Psylocke, Archangel, and X-23, though her role in the mission is not yet what it seems.

first mission

The team infiltrates a hidden complex deep within a controlled zone, where the boundaries between science and weaponization have long been erased. Inside, they uncover a living system of experimentation, mutants engineered, conditioned, and deployed as tools. At the center of this operation stands Professor Ajax, acting as field controller, while the true architect operates in the shadows: Mister Sinister. Through his genetic mastery, Sinister has not only revived these programs but unified them, creating a new phase of controlled evolution tied directly to his long-term vision.
As the team advances, they encounter a newly reformed version of the Marauders, composed of Arclight, Vertigo,, Birdy, Riptide, Blockbuster, and Sabretooth. Unlike their predecessors, these operatives are refined, conditioned, and utterly loyal, designed to counter threats like X-Force directly. The battle that follows is brutal and relentless, with each member of Cable’s team pushed to their limits against opponents engineered for war.
It is within the depths of the facility that the truth is revealed: X-23 is not just a target, she is a product of this system, actively being used as a living weapon under the control of Ajax and Sinister. Her presence fractures the mission, forcing Cable to adapt. Rather than eliminate, they must extract. As Psylocke reaches her mentally and Wolverine’s legacy echoes through the battlefield, the team shifts focus, breaking her conditioning in the midst of chaos.
The final phase of the mission becomes total annihilation. Cable leads the charge to destroy the core systems linking Black Womb Project, Weapon X, and Project Armageddon, ensuring that no data, no samples, and no infrastructure remain. Explosions ripple through the complex as Domino manipulates probability in their favor, Bishop absorbs and redirects energy overloads, and Archangel unleashes devastating force to hold back the Marauders’ last resistance.
In the end, the facility falls. The cycle is brought to an end. Though Mister Sinister escapes, his work is set back significantly. X-23 is freed, no longer a weapon but something more uncertain: a survivor.

notable missions

Cable tracks a series of coordinated mutant disappearances to a hidden paramilitary network once led by Bastion. Operating through advanced Sentinel technology and human collaborators, Cameron Hodge is rebuilding an anti-mutant infrastructure designed to operate without oversight, trying to reassume Operation Zero Tolerance after Bastion's defeat. Infiltrating a fortified facility, the X-Force faces adaptive machines capable of learning from his tactics in real time. Cameron Hodge had already left the base by the time the team arrived at the operations center, but they found documents linking the operation to a much larger plan; it seems the anti-mutants have been communicating with one another, working together toward a common goal.
Domino is assigned to dismantle a covert infiltration and espionage network run by Copycat. Deadpool's ex-wife/current girlfriend/widow/love interest seems to have accepted a million-dollar offer from a mysterious debt collector. She infiltrates an exclusive party, and Domino must rely on luck to find her, since the mutant is capable of copying her abilities and becoming just as lucky. As Domino moves through layers of deception, probability subtly bends events in her favor, exposing inconsistencies, creating openings, and forcing Copycat into direct confrontation.
Deadpool is assigned to dismantle a mutant trafficking operation run by Sluggo, whose grotesque mutations and overwhelming strength make him the perfect enforcer for the underground black market. The mission quickly turns into a brutal hunt, as the facility is filled with enhanced guards and captured mutants awaiting transport. Deadpool and Sluggo end their chase at a concert venue, and in order to find out who’s hiring mercenaries like him and Copycat, he challenges him to a lip-sync battle. The chatty mercenary puts on a show with the help of the nightclub’s drag troupe and manages to get him to talk: Chance White is the billionaire who has been investing heavily in sponsoring anti-mutant operations.
Bishop is assigned to investigate a pattern of digital incursions and disappearing data trails linked to Trinary, a reclusive technopath known for hijacking advanced systems and repurposing them into autonomous weapons. Tracing the signal to a concealed facility, Bishop discovers that Trinary has taken control of a dormant Sentinels network, rewriting their core directives to operate without human oversight. The mission escalates as the machines activate in unison, responding to hercommands with perfect synchronization. The hero discovers that the tech thief’s motive is to take revenge on those responsible for Operation Zero Tolerance, which ultimately led to the deaths of her family and many others during her final battle with the X-Men. B15H0P offers her a place on the team in exchange for her promise that they will carry out her revenge and bring those responsible to death.
Psylocke and Archangel infiltrates a clandestine enhancement network controlled by Angel Dust, where individuals are subjected to chemical augmentation and psychological conditioning. Moving through hidden facilities and controlled environments, the couple confronts heightened strength, unstable aggression, and operatives conditioned for absolute obedience. Upon arriving at the private room at the party, where Angel Dust and Chance White were isolated, they discover that the billionaire has been murdered and that the mutant has been knocked out; they just don't know who is trying to cover up the traces of their crime.
The team is deployed to eliminate a rogue anti-mutant faction led by Cameron Hodge, who is conducting cruel experiments on captured mutants to fuel his crusade. The battlefield is filled with restrained victims, weaponized technology, and fanatical followers driven by hatred. As Archangel engages, his own connection to pain and transformation resurfaces, pushing him toward a more ruthless approach. When they finally find the soldier, the winged hero kills him without a second thought, already tormented and consumed by a desire for justice against those he had tortured. The team uncovers the final documents revealing who had been using Chance White's fortune to carry out those operations through blackmail and secrets: the mysterious Secretary of National Defense known as Cassandra Nova.
X-23 runs away to hunt a rogue operative known as X-24, a perfected clone engineered to replicate the brutality and efficiency of her genetic predecessor. The target is fast, adaptive, and relentless, mirroring everything Laura was trained to be, only without restraint. As the pursuit unfolds across multiple environments, the mission becomes deeply personal, forcing her to confront a living reflection. When her stalker finds her and decides to kill her, she is saved by a mysterious figure—the hero Wolverine, whom her mother had told her so much about during her childhood in the lab. Father and daughter—or something like that—meet for the first time, and their brutality seems to multiply as they easily tear X-24 to pieces.
