Early Life
During the Cold War, the race to understand the Negative Zone Theory intensified after discoveries tied to Reed Richards’ research on dark matter. While American efforts were halted, the USSR advanced its own project under Mikhail Rasputin, sending a test subject into space: Cosmo, a canine astronaut who never returned.
Lost in the cosmos, Cosmo eventually reached the Negative Zone, but not before being caught in an intergalactic storm that altered him forever granting him sentience and a psychic connection to the collective mind of all living beings.

Upon reaching the Negative Zone, Cosmo witnessed a realm of chaos and existential threat, filled with monstrous entities and unstable spatial fractures that could one day annihilate reality. Determined to warn the universe, he traveled to Knowhere, only to find a society driven by profit and apathy.
Frustrated by the lack of action, Cosmo became a symbol of resistance, organizing protests and eventually leading a revolutionary movement against the system that ignored the coming danger. His actions led to the collapse of Knowhere’s economic structure, forcing intervention from the Nova Corps.
Arrested and labeled a radical, Cosmo used his telepathic abilities to reveal the truth behind his actions, ultimately convincing the authorities of the imminent threat. Rather than silencing him, an alliance was formed one that could stand against the approaching galactic war.
Unlike the rigid ideologies of his origin, Cosmo proved that the universe didn’t have to choose between extremes there was still a path toward unity before everything was lost.
