Early Life

Emily Sung was a young college student in Seoul who took a summer job as a receptionist at a renowned funeral home, working mostly night shifts. What began as routine soon became unsettling. The number of bodies received defied explanation, and rumors of a strange complex installed in the basement began to feel less like speculation and more like truth.

Determined to uncover what was happening, Emily used her knowledge of computer science to hack into the facility’s surveillance system. What she discovered turned suspicion into certainty. The basement was not merely an extension of the funeral home—it was an active, hidden operation. The recordings revealed deformed and mysterious creatures arriving regularly, treated not as threats but as guests by masked military agents and scientists.

She spent nights watching the footage like a horror film that never ended.

A pattern emerged. The creatures would bring artifacts into containment cells, where scientists would study them for hours or days, attempting to understand their nature. Sometimes, they brought corpses—unnatural remains that defied logic. During one such event, an object appeared completely obscured, interfering with the cameras, its form blurred as if reality itself refused to reveal it.

Driven by curiosity, Emily infiltrated the basement disguised in a stolen scientist’s suit. Inside, she found evidence of a hidden organization—S.H.A.D.E.—its name displayed on a sign that cameras had never recorded. While the scientists took a break, she slipped into a restricted research room.

There, she found the object.

It was covered by a veil. Around it were identification cards labeled “Potential Study Targets,” bearing names such as Rex Manson, Urania Blackwell, Joseph Manson, and an entity called “Element Dog.” And then, Emily removed the veil.

When it ended, she emerged as something never seen before. The Element Woman.
