Biography 

Origin

Bane’s origins are mysterious—no one knows how a newborn baby ended up inside Peña Dura, a prison built to contain political prisoners. What is certain is that the infant was adopted by the prison’s inmate society, who ensured he survived in such a hostile environment.

Early Life

Over time, Peña Dura shifted from housing political dissidents to confining every kind of criminal, from robbers to murderers. Growing up inside, Bane was uniquely shaped by exposure to two extremes: the greatest revolutionary minds of his country, who taught him strategy and discipline, and the worst criminals, who instructed him in survival, brutality, and violence.

The Slaughter of Peña Dura

As Bane matured, he witnessed a bloody uprising within the prison, sparked by two newly arrived inmates. Their violent conflict escalated into a full-blown rebellion, which ended with the military storming the prison. During the slaughter, 614 prisoners were executed, most without trial. To protect him, Bane was hidden deep in the innermost cells.

When the chaos finally consumed Peña Dura, Bane—now a young adult—seized his chance for freedom. Escaping amidst the bloodshed, he swam across the waters to Santa Prisca’s coast, where he was discovered by Veneno drug dealers. The cartel took him in, recognizing the mix of raw physical power and cultivated intelligence he carried from his upbringing in prison.

Under their tutelage, Bane quickly proved himself indispensable. Before long, he had risen to the top ranks of the Veneno operation, taking command of the cartel itself. His life as an orphaned prisoner had come full circle: raised by radicals and killers, tempered by prison walls, and ultimately unleashed as one of the most dangerous figures in the criminal underworld.

As Bane

After conquering Santa Prisca while rulling the Veneno Operation, he received some information about the mass destruction of products while being transported to USA, apparently when they reached Gotham City's harbor.

So he decided to pay a visit to the masked vigilante who keeps geting involved in his plans. And he will not be very kind.
